can I realistically represent myself in this situation? I have been charged with a dui and a bac of at least 0.16, driving without insurance, careless driving and totalled my vehicle in the process. I do not have money for a lawyer, so any advice would be appreciated. What types of things can i do to be proactive in my case, what are some of the penalties and possible outcomes of this court action? What can I expect being a first time dui offender? Is this going to lead to a misdeamor or felony?
