I am taking my daughters father for child support, if he relquits his right to her as her father does that mean he dosn't pay child support?

Re: Child Support

In Colorado, both parents have a duty to pay child support until the child turns 19 (unless the child is emancipated). I'm not sure exactly what you mean when you refer to the father relinquishing his rights to the child. However, he will still have to pay child support for the child, regardless of any attempt on his part to "relinquish his rights." As long as he is the father of the child, regardless of how little time he spends with them, he will still be legally required to financially support his child. Although I don't know the details of the current child support obligation, it's possible his child support obligation will increase if he "relinquishes his rights." In Colorado, one of the factors in the child support calculation is the amount of time each party spends with the children. If one of the parents has the sole responsibility for raising the children, the other parent will be expected to contribute financially.
