are disability benefits and SSI mutually exclusive in Colorado?

I get disability (just recently). Under a thousand a month.I have no other resources. Do I qualify for SSI in Colorado?

Generally, your monthly unearned income after the first $20 may not exceed $579 to be eligible for SSI.
