Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut

My sister said that when I was 12, and she was 7, I kissed her and touched her ass. Now I am 45, and she is 40, she is also an alcoholic, she gets pissed off when I do not do what she wants me to do. She told her friends that I molested her, I am tired of this hanging over my head. she told my wife that I molested her when we were kids. I do not remember this, and it has been 33 years . My question is, could she have me arrested for her claims? Do I have any legal rights, I am tired of her bullshit. We now live in CT, this she says happened when we lived in NY. Where do I stand?

It seems very unlikely that you would be arrested for any possible molestation you may or may not have caused more than thirty years ago as a minor. The statute of limitations for this matter reads as follows:

Conn. Gen. Stat. 52-577d:

LIMITATION OF ACTION FOR DAMAGES TO MINOR CAUSED BY SEXUAL ABUSE, EXPLOITATION OR ASSAULT.

Notwithstanding the provisions of section 52-577, no action to recover damages for personal injury to a minor, including emotional distress, caused by sexual abuse, sexual exploitation or sexual assault may be brought by such person later than thirty (30) years from the date such person attains the age of majority (18).
