Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

So my father and his ex-wife are in a tense custody battle for my 7 y/o half brother. I am 18 y/o go to boarding school, and live with my mom. So, I only get to see him about once a month. Now recently my father found out that I socially smoke marijuana and is convinced that if his ex-wife found out she could use it against him to gain custody since his case is based on her abusing substances (namely alcohol). Is my dad correct?

Since you are 18 years old, you are an adult. They can't do anything about it as far as I can see. There are no custody battles over adults.
