Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I can no longer afford to pay my divorce atty. i need to find help with CT. Statewide

Legal Assistance,. my atty. was going to file for my husband to pay my fees, almost $9,000 later it still hasn't happened. my question if if i am put on a waiting list for pro-bono does the divorce case get put on hold? or do i have to represent myself until i can get one?

I never heard of Statewide Legal Assistance putting someone "on hold." However, I do know there are major state budge cuts, so I guess it's possible. I do not believe the court is going to put a hold on your case, however, you can argue that with the judge.
