Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

installing insulation in attic

I wish to convert a partially finished attic space to clean storage. I am installing insulation and the condo board has told me that I need to get their approval to install insulation because it touches the interior roof in my attic space which is designated in the bylaws as my unit. They say they own the rafters. Do I need to get their approval?

Re: installing insulation in attic

Can't really tell w/o seeing the condo docs, but my guess is that you do need permission. That's usually what the docs say.
