Legal Question in Traffic Law in District of Columbia

Wrongful Arrest/Suspended License

I received a ticket for speeding (45 in a 25 mph zone) on January 26, 2009. I sent a letter to request a hearing on the same day the ticket was issued thus received a court date of July 8, 2009 but was arrested on July 1, 2009 for a suspended license because of the ticket. I went to the DMV the following day after the arrest to find out that my license shouldn't have been suspended. What kind of lawyer do I need?

Re: Wrongful Arrest/Suspended License

This is a serious traffic case but is akin to criminal because there is potential jail time. Lawyers such as myself who do criminal cases typically also handle these cases. Feel free to contact me anytime for a free consultation.
