Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
College giving incorrect information
I have recently started taking classes for a new degree in interior design at a school, and the admissions councellor told me that they were FIDER accredited which is what I need to eventually take the licensing exam. It just so happens that I found out last week, after the 100% withdrawal period ended that they are not FIDER accredited that they are working off of their sister campus in Tampa's accredidation. The Orlando campus is not yet accredited. I asked the admissions councelor about this and he said not to worry that they will be accredited by the time I graduate as they are modeling their courses after the accredited program in Tampa. I don't want to take that change and pay all this money (317/credit) and then not be accredited. Is there any recourse I may have that I might be able to withdraw now and not have to pay for the courses which now would be 75%?

The choice is yours. Either withdraw and get what you can or stick it out and hope you dont get stuck.
