There is not enough information in the facts provided. If false statements were made in the presence of others who believed the statements which then damaged you, you may have a claim for slander. Simply humiliating you is not generally grounds for any legal action.

You should meet with an attorney who can review the specifics of your situation and provide you with advice regarding your legal rights and remedies, if any.
