age of limit

what is the age of limit that a law firm can persue collecting a credit card debt?They have already went so far as to freeze bank account and garnish wages. Can they go after the now wife that married or a party to the card?

A judgment is valid for 20 years. Wages may be exempt as can the bank account in which they are deposited. Consult with competent counsel.
