Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

bank of america credit card

I became disabled in 2003, i was keeping up with bank of america payments. but in 2006 I was in and out of the hospital each month. i sent them copies of those and had asked to make payments. the last payment i made was march of 2007. I completely forgot about the bill because all billing statements had stopped. i was notified today that in 2 days it is being sent to my county for court? What will they do? I tried to talk to this lady today and explained my hardship and she seemed not to care. I just want to know what they will do. can they take my house from me or my only vechile which i am still paying for?
