credit card debt

I am a senior with credit card debt due to the economy and trying to help my kids.I have 2 homes.michigan and florida.should I have them put a lein on my mi. home and then file bankruptsy or let it go into forclosure? i am overwhelmed. I have s.s.plus a pension...can they take either of them

You may qualify for a chapter 7 bankruptcy. This is complicated and cannot be answered in the forum. I suggest that you contact my office for a consultation about bankruptcy. I do charge for the consult. My office is in Orlando.
