Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I owe on medical bills. I been paying monthly payments of what I can and not a set amount. The hospital and doctors want to set up a payment plan which is more than I can afford. I have not missed a month since I been given the final bills to pay. Can they change our agreement?

No. I suggest you sign nothing and continue to pay as you have.

If your "agreement" is not in writing they may be able to request full payment of the remaining balance, and send the balance to collections. It is difficult to fully answer your question without knowing more facts. Feel free to contact me should you have further questions or require assistance.
