Marijuana Possession

I was at Bikeweek in Daytona with a friend. He lit a joint and passed it to me. I did take a hit off of it and passed it back to him. Cops then approached us. My friend turned over the rest of the joint and they found 4 additional joints in his pocket. They cited both of us for possession. Can they charge me with possession even though I did not have any marijuana on my person?

Yes according to your facts you possessed marijuana when you smoked.
