2nd dui
Arrested sat night for dui. Facts: pulled into a public area to sleep it off. Police officer woke me up. asked for my nam and ss#. He knew that I had been drinking. Asked him to call my father to pick me up, but he said the number was unlisted. left the area. 30 minutes later I drove(dumb) he arrested me immediately and had 2 sheriff cars with him.
Questions 1 din't arrest me on the spot why
2 didn't take my keys to protect me from driving,putting bothme and others in jepardy.
3 lied about my father being unlisted
feel like he set me up to drive would this be considerd an illegal stop?
I know i'm rambling but any input or remarks would be helpful

It very well be an illegal stop. There may be a Motion to Suppress that would be applicable to your case.
I would recomend that you go to the police department and pick up a copy of the police report in your case and contact an attorney immediately.
