Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am active duty miltary stationed in FL. My husband of 7 months and I recently seperated and he returned to PA. I am looking to file a petition for simplified dissolution of marriage in FL. Would he be able to have the form notarized in PA or will he have to come back to FL just to file the paperwork?

1. Any Notary in any state can attest on the Petition.

2. He may or may not have to return for the final hearing, Depends on the Judge. Some Judges only require one party to attend, some allow attendance by phone.

You can do a simple divorce with him in another state, using a lawyer. Simplified by definition means you both have to physically show up at the clerk to have your docs signed. There are other ways to accomplish what you want. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.
