Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My boyfriend and I had a domestic dispute in front of my children and he was arrested. All charges were dropped even the no contact order. Now CPS is threatening to take my daughter away if I don't put an injunction on him. Can they do that even though the judge dropped the no contact order?

They are in the business of protecting the child - are you? Where is the boyfriend now? If the two of you are still together the next time an altercation happens you will find yourself alone as they will come in for the "best interest of the child" and remove her from you. Then you will play their standards by doing anger management classes and parenting classes etc. And you will have to remove the BF from the picture.

that does not mean you will get her back. It is just a plan that will be in place and you will need to follow it until a court hearing on the matter and she will be in a foster home somewhere with no contact with you.

Yes they can do that, although I do not like those bully tactics. You should retain a lawyer. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.
