Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Support After 18

According to my divorce papers I only have to pay the mortgage on the house until the youngest child is 18, then the house can be placed for sale. My ex-wife is now stating that I have to pay child support after the children turn 18 till they are 21 if they decide to go to college. Is that possible? My ex-wife make more money than I do a year, she said that she went to an attorney and they can force me to pay after the children are 18. The children are not incapable of working.

Re: Child Support After 18

Not without a court order which you can oppose. Good luck.
