Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Legal ownership of vehicle

I am the primary owner of vehicle. My son is the co-signor. I have registration and insurance on the vehicle. My son does not. He has disappeared for two days. I am concerned for the legalities. Will the police consider the car as mine because I have primary ownership?

If the title is in your name, you are the owner. If the title is in BOTH your names, you both are the owners.

If your son is on the title, it's as much his car as yours.
