Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a newborn with a girl I am not married to, never have, and never will. The baby has my last name and I have accepted him as mine. How will the child support work? What is an estimate of the child support? What are my rights to see the baby? he is about 2 weeks old. I have only being able to see him at her house. When can I be alowed to take him with me? at least for a couple of hours since he is so small.

You need to file a paternity suit--preferably with the help of a family law attorney--to obtain your father's rights. Once you've done that, you are as much entitled to custody or overnight visitation as she is.

If you don't get custody, you'll likely have to pay support, as you know, but I can't calculate it without knowing each of your incomes, the cost of health insurance, and whether there will be any daycare.
