Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Is Wife Responsible for Husband's Debts After Divorce?

Am I legally responsible for debts my husband incurred during our marriage if I did not act as a co-signer or sign any other papers or forms? My husband has accumulated many medical bills due to recurring health problems, and has also defaulted on a car loan. My name is not on the car loan or hospital bills. Currently, we are still married, but I am in the process of filing divorce papers, and would like to know how his debts can affect my credit report and my other assets, such as my home and car. Can legal action be taken against me because of his debts? Am I obligated to pay the medical bills and defaulted car loan while we remain married? Or when we are divorced?
