Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I co-signed a new car for a friend back in 06. Since she was the one making the payments but she was paying almost every month late and was past due or gone over 30days 4 times on the loan with 8 bounced checks. In Nov. citifinancial called me to collect the 2 past due paymets for 800.00 well we got into a huge agrument and I had advised her to get that truck out of my name and she said she will. Two months later I find out she was going to mardi gras this past week so I cut her phone off and xm radio both under my name. I called the dealership to find out my legal rights and it was both our names listed as "or" so they cut me a key and I took the car and drove it back to the dealership and traded her truck in along with mine which I only owed 500.00 and got myself a new 2011 suv. My question is can she sue me for the monies she paid on her truck since I have assets but also her payment history is terrible and my credit score dropped 100 points what can I do to protect myself from her suing me for monies she has paid on the truck.

Yes, she can sue you. She has a pretty good case, too, in my opinion.
