Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

My elderly father was denied a renewal of his drivers license due to failing eyesight. I found out that he is driving the car anyway for what he calls "short trips". My husband says that if he were involved in an accident and was sued, we could lose everything due to the fact that my name is on the deed to his condo, checking account, savings, and mortgage. I can't take the car because my mother is still perfectly capable of driving, has a valid license, and needs it to get around. She either can't or won't stop Dad driving. Do I need to insist that he stop driving or have him take my name off these documents immediately?
