Injury during an act of crime.
My grandma helped her sister buy a home in florida, eventually her sister stopped making paymets on the home. So the sister moved out, in that time my aunt offered to move in and catch up with the payments, from the time it took for my aunt to move from CA to FL a guy broke into the home in Florida to steel Avocados, he took 6 crates from her home which in FL you can sell them for $2 ea. the guy fell off the avocado tree into the electrical wire and was electrocuted and thrown to the ground, the ambulance came and pronounced him dead but then they recesitated him and now he is trying to sue my grandmother for medical reimbursment and his lawyers want to take her CA home from her.

If there is a policy of homeowner's insurance, you should immediately notify the insurance company.

If there is homeowners insurance covering the property you must contact them immediately. If not, I thank I can be of assistance should they pursue a legal action in Florida. You may contact me if you wish.

This guy was a trespasser and unless his fall was caused by some known danger that your grandmother did not notify him of then her liability is limited, your grandmother should hire an attorney to protect her individual assets. If she is unable to afford an attorney and is relying on the homeowner's insurance find out what kind of defense they provide and if they are able to protect her individual assets such as her California home and any other assets she may have in their defense. It is likely the homeowner's insurance company, your grandmother and her sister will be sued individually.

Turn it over to the homeowners insurance for defense. If there was no insurance, then hire a Florida attorny immediately.
