my non biological ex signed a birth certificate when i was 16. son is now 5 and he contibutes nothing. he picks the kid up from school without consent and they do nothing. the school board says they cannot help. how do i keep him away from us?

Your question is a bit confusing, but if you are saying he is not actually the father, then you can file a petition to disestablish paternity. This would lead to a termination of his parental rights. It is not the simplest process, so you may want to consult a lawyer.

If you can prove it, petition the court for a hearing. If he is the father, you are entitled to child support and a determination as to custody.
