Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Question

When I was 17 yrs old, my boyfriend and I (he was 24) went and got tattoo's. Well the artist allowed me to get a tattoo with out parental consent. And now that I am 21 and no longer with him, I am pretty upset. Had they taken proper action, I wouldn't be left with this scar for life( a name at that!). Is this reason for getting an attorney?

Re: Question

Even though you were under age, I do not think there is much value to this kind of claim. The Palor is going to argue that you are not really upset about the tattoo, but just that it bears the name of an ex-boyfriend. The will agrue that you showed the palor proof you were of legal age with a phoney card.

Assuming you did not lie about your age, probably the best bet is to complain to the agency governing these palors.
