Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Employment advice

I have been employed by a non-profit as director for almost 16 yrs. A new board took over this Jan and I did not vote for them. They want to replace me - have put me under evaluation each month and will make a decision Nov 1st. At each evaluation there is nothing in writing, nothing except personal issues discussed and petty things. I feel as though I am being set up to fail and in Nov they will come up with a whole list of infractions. Should I ask in writing for a list of ''ways to improve'', should I ask for a copy of the tapes of each meeting. These people are going ruin my career simply because they dont like me. Is this legal?

Re: Employment advice

Unless you have a contract that requires differently, they can keep doing this and they can fire you with or without cause.

If the writing is on the wall, go and negotiate your departure in an amicable fashion so you get a good recomendation out of it and start looking for another job.
