Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

florida labor union

we have a company in mich. that is part of the local union. Can they in any way try to come after our company in Florida and try to unionize us, because we're already with them? Or force us into anything we don't want to do? It;s the same line of business (tile co.)but in a different name.

Florida is a right to work state. They can try to unionize but it can not be forced. You may wish to consult with an attorney and implement some human resource policies and procedures to help address benefits and compensation to help minimize the desire to unionize.
