Holding paycheck

Can a company hold your paycheck, 3 days after the check is dated.

The date of the check is irrelevant. The date your paycheck is due is what is important. A three day delay, though, is not worth suing over.

Probably not. The company may be in violation of a Florida or federal statute. In order to make that determination, however, I would need additional information, such as whether you signed an employment agreement or not.
