Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Military Harassment Continued

More details. I have a 1995 settlement agreement for past military harassment. All was well until called back to active duty in 2003 and returned to work May 2008 to be offered job not on job vacancy list and outside of career field and with $15K less in benefits. Personnel Director refused to consider me for job vacancy for which I am over qualified (obtained Masters degree while on active duty). Besides USERRA, what Florida laws will help me file for discrimination to up the damages?

Re: Military Harassment Continued

Absent a contract with your employer that would give you these rights, you are probably limited to the Federal statute. Florida is not a particularly worker friendly state. Been voting red too long now.
