Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Overtime Pay

One week I worked 30 hours, the next week I worked 44 hours. Instead of getting the 4 hours of overtime pay, I received pay for 34 hours and 40 hours. Is this serious enough to take to court, it has happened on two occasions.

Your employer may very well have deprived you of overtime compensation, and you can complain to the company in an effort to request that they correct the situation and/or contact an attorney directly. The law does not generally allow employers to do what your employer has done in the facts provided.
