Release from job while on short term disability leave, and not informed of it.
While on short term disibility leave, I was relesae from my job without being inform of. I lost my unemployment for 4 months because I did not know I was unemployed until a week before I was due to return to work. The short term disability had ended. Can I recovery some of the money from my x employer.

From what you have stated, it may be a Family and Medical Leave Act claim, but I am not certain because you did not provide enough information. Your employer has how many employees? Where is the company located? What type of business is it? What type of "disability" were you on? Did you have a doctor's diagnosis? Did you notify your employer prior to your leave? There are a lot of questions which I need answers to before I can tell you if you have a potential claim.
