Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I am being sued for overtime from 1 person who states he worked 52 hrs a week EVERY WEEK for 3 years I am an exterior painting contractor in Fla which is impossible (June-Nov hurricane season) I am lucky to get in 2 hours a day I am a small company under 5 people making well under $500,000 a year I was given 2 weeks to either hire an attorney or remove myself from the corp (I think) so I can rep myself, I really do not want to settle out of court cause this guy is lying & looking for fast cash, but being a corp i cannot rep myself unless i remove myself????

any answer or referral is greatly appreciated

I hear you, and I understand. The corporation needs to hire an attorney to put a cap on this. You are a principal of the corp.?

Get it over with in one big swoop or maybe a small settlement. Hire an attorney to handle it!!!
