Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I had a tempestuous gay relationship with an infamous crime figure. He granted an interview to a academic publication in 2003 where he said and they printed less than flattering things about me.

Can I sue for damages & or to gain publicity in promoting my up coming

memoir?

Revelations about my relationship will be included in an upcoming documentary about this celebrited crime and the real life people that inspired it.
