Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

I work for a company in florida filed for my papers and did biometrics already so I am just waiting for the documents to arrive in the mail. My question is the company I work for has never paid me overtime recently put me on salary even though they know I dont have documents but am able to cash the checks due to joint bank account with my wife. Yesterday after I worked for 4 weeks they told me they cannot pay me anymore because I am not legal I need to provide a social which they know I don not have, I want to know what I can do to sue them for everything they owe me all the hours I worked never got paid. What do I do?
