Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Florida 2 year lease

I know Realtors in Florida cannot date a lease longer than a year. My question is why? It seems all we (I am a Realtor) would have to do is put in a date that allows for two years with the contracts were provided.

There is no law that limits a lease to a year.
