Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

landlord problems

our landlord has been giving us problems with his criminal on goings and foreclosure of the house we rent. He skipped the state and left us with the mess. How can we get out of our lease. There is a clause in our lease for peaceful living - I am sick of the process servers and bail bondsmen coming to the door.
