Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

sister moved in with another sister (we will call her friend) in Suwannee County FL, for a little over two months. Her friend is psycho so my sister said she was moving out. Now the friend won't give her, her belongings or let her in the house and has admitted through text that she threw her jewelry in the dump.and was going to vandalize other things. Is it braking an entering if she broke in? her name wasn't on the lease the landlord wont let her in without her friend there but when she is we cant get in.The friend sucker punched her in the back of the head then shoved her down the porch texted she was ready for a fight. the police wont do anything.

Whoever it is that left the apartment does not have a present right of possession or entry so entering without permission would likely be trespass. Only likely option may be a lawsuit to seek recovery of the items. The value will obviously determine whether pursuing the action is worthwhile. Please contact a local landlord/ tenant attorney.
