Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Townhouse Repairs

To whom it may concern,

I need some help with getting my landlord to do normal maintenance on the townhouse. Currently electric outlets in our townhouse are not working properly. The garbage disposer is broken, and there are problems with a/c and various water pipes and tiolets need to be fixed. We have called several times, but only get voicemail and we have left several messages which are never returned. He makes promises to fix items, but never shows up when he said he would show up. We have sent a certified letter for repair cost, but again he ignored our request to fix items in our townhouse. We offered to have someone to come in fix and he stated that he would not pay for these repairs...Please help

Thank you,

Michael

Re: Townhouse Repairs

Suggest you go to your County Court and arrange to pay rent into court pending repairs.
