Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

I had acute pelvic pain, went to urgent care , saw a doctor diagniosed me with PID( pelvic inflamatory disease, told me the gyncologist will be in the office here in the morning and to make sure i see him ,( he would only be there til 12:00 noon) made an appiontment (9:15) and , the gyncologist that was suppose to look at me told the receptionist for me to go straight to emergency , so i did , what should of cost me 200 now have cost me 4500, the doc at ER ask me why i was their , i told her i was at first at the gyncologist but he sent me to ER she couldnt believe it! then at the hospital i was agian diagniosed with PID and was told to see the gyncologist in the women clinic the following monday when they were opened, i made an app Sept 28th to see the specialist my apt was at 1 pm never saw anyone til 4 pmbecause the doc taht was suppose to see me was in Er. Dic guran looked after me a gyncologist and told me she thinks i have endametriosis, i was telling her how the doc were staing how bad shape my cervixs were in, she said they looked a little pink but not as bad as she was thinking it would be, she was very concern how to the touch it would bleed i tld her i havent had an accurate pap smear now for two years because to much blood shows ) ,she said we cant do nothing til we get the pap test back and that i was concern i had too much blood in that test but she sai ooh no i made sure i got enouhh tissues it will be able to be read. she said it will take 8-10 days , if there is eomthung they will call right away, if i havent heard to call then for the results, after 9 days i started calling and no reply at all from her nurse tracy , finally i went in on oct 15 wanting my med paper test , thinking that the pap had to be ok never heard from them ! relieved, at the hsop they had no trace of med test to give me they told me to go back to clinic maybe they had it,iwent back there to the clinic and that nurse tracy came out and said im sorry we neevr sent the test because u never paid for it! i told her whne i left that day the women didnt want to take the money she said she was going to mail it the paperwork wasnt even with her! they had all my numbers they could of called , or at least mailed me a letter to state it wasnt sent, insted of me thinking i was ok , if i never folowed up i would of been in big trouble, she offered me right away at the clinic to take another one i had no chioce but to , she charge me for the test but not the doc visit, i told her now i am really bleexing she said that doent matter at all.

now it been 17 days form last time a gyncologist saw me and this new doc that is now taking the pap tells me that she sees some lesions in my cervixs, where b4 it was just pink) and now i am waiting again for the pap results 8-10 days , the doc also said its not a guarntee the test will be able to be read ! what do i do ! ever since i had this pain i had nothing but emotional and painful situatations , i also think the first gyncologist who i was suppose to see right from the start should of took me right in the beginning but because i never had insurance at all , or he had something to do and dint have time for me ! i have two issues here!

Before you can have a medical malpractice claim it is necessary that you have damages caused by negligence. I think that you are going to have to wait to see how your issues turn out. Keep in mind that there is 2 year statute of limitations in Florida for medical malpractice claims so that if you discover that you have some significant harm that would have been avoided by appropriate care you will need to immediately contact an attorney.
