Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Painful situation....Do I have a case.

my mother went to winter haven hospital for painful finger tips. She was dignosed with the raynaud's disease which causes poor blood circulation to the finger tips. She had surgery on one of her index fingers, which was giving her tremendous pain. They did xrays on both of her hands and also ask was she a dibetic. She was not dibetic, and they also told her that she would probably lose the index finger because it was getting no blood and was completely black. My mother was given morfin for her pain. The next day she appeared to be fine she was eating, responding, and well aware of her surroundings. That monday i came to the hospital and her nurse told me she hadn't ate anything all day and it was around 2:00pm. So i went into the room to try to get her to sit up and eat for me. The only thing i notice was that my mother could not sit up or keep her eyes open to even have a conversation. So i ask the nurse what was the problem. She told me that my mother was in a lot of pain and that they was giving her a new pain medicattion which was called oxycotin. She ask me would i rather have my mother in pain or dope up. Around 6pm i recieved a phone call to come back to the hospital and i was told that she passed in her sleep. I need help!!
