Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

RECENTLY AFTER MONTHS OF PAIN AND FRUSTRATION, I WAS TO HAVE CERVICAL SPINE SURGERY. IN BRIEF THEY PUT ME UNDER & WHEN I AWOKE IN RECOVERY, I WAS TOLD THAT I DID NOT HAVE SURGERY. WHEN ASKED WHY NOT, THEY TOLD ME THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT (DRILL BIT FOR ONE THING). I AM NOW SCHEDULED TO DO THIS ALL OVER AGAIN AT ANOTHER HOSPITAL. I'M 62 ON SSI WITH INSURANCE THRU fL. MEDICAID. SHOULD I PURSUE A LAWSUIT? tHANK YOU
