Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Ankle & Knee injury in Savannah, Ga Sheraton

I'm stationed @ Macdill AFB in Tampa, Fl & was on vacation in Savannah, Ga in Dec '08. My wife slipped & fell . We notified the front desk & filed an incident report. The hotel sent us to a local hospital to the emergency room. The diagnosis is injury to my wife's right foot (she's wearing a boot on the foot) & she's wearing a stabilizer on her right knee. The ER doctor also said she should go to the ortho dept when we rtn to Tampa. We had to return to Tampa on the 1st because that's when my leave ended. We would like to initiate a lawsuit. Would I need an attorney in GA or FL? Thank you for your answer
