Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My daughter hit someone and did $1750 in damages to the other car. She didn't have insurance at the time and has to pay the $1750 to the insurance company that paid the repair bills. Can she be sued for any medical bills from the other driver?

Short answer, yes. If the other driver did not have "PIP" or Personal Injury Protection or if the medical bills exceed that, she may be responsible.

Good luck,
