Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I googled my name yesterday and found it being used by someone else on a social network website for which I never registered with or want to have anything to do with. It clearly shows a picture of an african male which is not me as I am a caucasian woman. I want to clear this up to ensure that if anybody looks up my name, such as an employer, they do not see this. Isn't this fraud and what can I do about it. I tried emailing the contact but have received no reply, the website does not offer any telephone number either. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

While I do not know your name, I am assuming that other people also have the same name. I know that there is one other woman who has my same maiden name spelled exactly the same. We are two different people. There is nothing you can do if this person has the same name as you. He is not using your name, he is using his name. There is nothing to clear up.

I agree with the prior answer and just wanted to add that you don't state how you know this is not his name, and you cannot stop someone from using the same name.

Did you stop to consider that other people have the same legal name as you? There are at least 4 people with my name who pop-up in my Google search results (fyi - I have never played basketball, and I have never been a porn star).

There is no restriction on someone using a name as long as they do not do so fraudulently
