Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was involved in a car accident last August, caused by 2 16 year old boys, each in a separate car, both ran a stop sign and were racing very fast in a 25 mile zone. I don't want to bore you with every detail, but you may ask anything you want. I have been seeing a Chiropractor since the accident occurred, he accepted me as a Patient, knowing it was an accident case, and the car insurance company has been making payments to him on a regular basis. I was referred to the lawyer I'm using by the Chiropractor. I now regret having chosen this lawyer. After 6 months, the Insurance Company has cut off my PIP, and the lawyer is talking about winding up the case. I met with him yesterday, 2/2/11, for the first time since I met with him in August. In the interim I have closely followed everything the Chiropractor has told me to do. The lawyer is NOW saying my Case is not worth much, he's telling me that I need witnesses to coroborrate everything, and he told me that not only he gets part of whatever Settlement there is, but the Chiropractor also gets a share. I have never heard of the last, because I was under the impression that whatever the Insurance Company paid the Chiropractor, that's all he gets.

I wish that I could switch to another Lawyer. I don't feel that this man is being honest with me.

Thank you for your interest in our law firm. In order to get started and/or answer your questions, we request that you call our office to schedule an initial consultation so that one of our attorneys can evaluate your legal concerns and provide meaningful advice. We offer in-office as well as telephone consultations. Please call the office at 904-823-3333 or 386-366-4848 to schedule your 1-hour consultation. There is a $150 fee for the 1-hour consultation. This is a reduced hourly rate for our attorneys. Personal injury cases are on a contingency fee and thus there is no consultation fee. If the $150 is something you are unsure about we can offer a free 15 minute consultation where no legal advice is given, but you get the opportunity to speak with one of our attorneys.

Please make sure to provide all documentation that may be relevant to your matter prior to your scheduled consultation. This will save time and legal fees and enable us to have a meaningful consultation. Oftentimes, prospective clients are able to leave our initial consultation with a game plan for addressing their legal concerns without any further fees.

Please call to schedule your initial consultation as soon as is practicable. Thank you again for contacting Jackson Law Group. We look forward to hearing from you.

There is no need to be "stuck" with a specific lawyer. If you are unhappy with his services, you can always choose another one. What your lawyer may be telling you is that since your PIP benefits have been exhausted the chiropractic treatments you have been having since the exhaustion would need to be paid from the settlement moneys.

If you would like to discuss more specific details, please feel free to contact my office and speak to me directly. 954-389-8150 - www.fairnessforall.com
