Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was recently in an automobile accident with my work truck due to the breaks failing. I recieved a ticket for running a red light and causing an accident, however I do not feel that I was at fault. The company has write ups from other employees that the breaks were not working properly. How do you suggest I plea in court? And what are the consequences if I plea not guilty and they find me guilty??

Definitely plead not guilty but bring a witness with you who knows of the problem with the brakes.

You should ask your employer to provide you with a lawyer as the condition of the truck was their responsibility. Actually you should not have been driving if you knew of the faulty condition.

If you are making up a story, be carefulll you are not guilty of perjury (lying to the Judge)..
