Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Can IP/copyright be a tort?

My company is the victim of intellectual property theft and other white collar crimes. The opposition is financially superior and has now forced my company to bankruptcy. Is there a tort that would apply to such a case? We are seeking an attorney that would accept this on a contingency fee basis to recover our eight-figures in damages but no one in Florida seems to take IP cases on contingency and given the unique circumstances, we see this as something much larger now than just IP/copyright violations as it extends to many other forms of injury.
