Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Minor Car accident

I was in a minor car accident. I ran a red light and hit another car. By the time I braked, I was going about 10mph and barely hit the car. the other person sustained a 6"scratch on her rear driver side door--no dent. Now she is suing me. She refused medical treatment at the time of the accident and was standing for hours and never complained of any pain. She also stated that she had hurt her back a couple of years ago and was moving on the day of the accident. She asked me lots of questions about my insurance and my assets. My questions are:1)How liable am I for aggravating her previous injury? and 2) Is she able to attach assets I own outside the United States to pay her damages?

Re: Minor Car accident

Do you have insurance? If so you have a lawyer who is defending this case for you. You need to contact you adjuster and ask for the name of the lawyer so that you can ask them your questions. As far as agravating her previous injuries Florida Law says that you take the plaintiff the way you find them.
